Blue Shining

David Lynch X The Shining Mashup

“What would The Shining look like had it been directed by David Lynch ? Would it be a dream or a nightmare? Blue Shining combines both worlds by integrating elements from Lynch's films into Kubrick's movie to give the Stephen King classic a Lynchian atmosphere.”

Our friend Richard Vézina has been working on his "Blue Shining" mashup since September 2013. It premiered in a draft version at the 2014 Fantasia Festival in Montréal. Richard has since refined hundreds of details in it, in order to get to this now stunning and brilliantly executed montage that goes even further than "David Lynch in Four Movements", his first lynchian work. Lynchland is proud to premiere it.

A few years ago, Richard edited a magnificent 20' montage of David Lynch's films entitled David Lynch in Four Movements. It's so marvellous and perfect that, from time to time, some newspapers still share it and it goes viral on the web, again and again, like I bet this will happen with Blue Shining. If you have never watched this first lynchian editing masterpiece, watch it now :
